Westcon has grown since its beginning in 1981 from a small, regional mechanical and maintenance specialty contractor to a U.S.-based national general contractor supporting a wide range of industries and a multitude of challenging projects. We have maintained our competitive advantage and have grown into a high-value, high-quality construction solutions provider. We have gained a strong reputation for our excellent safety culture and performance that is the “best-in-class” for every major U.S. industry.
Westcon typically employs more than 750 people, and frequently exceeds 1,000 in combined numbers of professional project leaders and craft resources. Our project leadership is comprised of project managers, construction field management, project superintendents, estimators, quality assurance/quality control leaders, procurement personnel, safety, health and environmental leaders, planners/schedulers, cost-control/project-reporting professionals, and project administration. Our craft resources are mostly direct-hire, highly trained, multi-skilled workers with some scopes of supply hired as selective subcontractors.
